Yesterday’s flight left London four hours after we got on the plane. A few hours later they told us Boston’s Logan Airport was cleared enough to land, but there weren’t enough Homeland Security people to cover incoming planes, so the airport would stay closed all night. We landed in Montreal instead. Now we’re scheduled to be picked up at the hotel in a two hours for an afternoon flight to Boston. We shall see.
The airline put us in hotels close to the airport, which makes sense but also makes it impossible to wander around downtown in the time we have available. At least the view from my room in the Montreal Airport Hilton…

… is better than yesterday’s from the London Airport Renaissance.

I’m looking forward to getting home.
I haven’t forgotten the purpose of this part of my blog, to comment on my Israel/Palestine trip. Stay tuned. I’ll have more to say on that, and no doubt on other things as well.
